The Two Rivers Arts and Crafts Festival was held Labor Day weekend in Ruidoso, along the Ruidoso River Trail. The event featured the hand made work of 25 artist. Unique and quality craftsmanship were on display in a wide range of artist’ materials including silverware, glass, wood, antlers, stone, gourds, silk, and more.
Vendors were set up along the scenic river trail, at Two Rivers Park, located behind the Ruidoso Chamber of Commerce on Sudderth St. There was a steady flow of visitors walking the trail, and visiting the booths, while enjoying a superb holiday weekend with warm and mild weather.
We hope to see this event back in Ruidoso, soon, as it showcases the work of talented artist. The River Trail at Two Rivers Park is the perfect setting, with scenic views along the river. This trail, which currently measures over one mile, may be extended further west towards Midtown, and the shopping district, as plans are being discussed on how to make the expansion a reality.
